Support Group for Families w/Special Needs (Cape Coral)

Support Group for Families of Special Needs Children (Cape Coral)

If you are a parent of a special needs child and you wish to connect with other families, we are starting a group in the Cape Coral area. This group is affiliated with the Parent to Parent Support Group through the Buckingham Exceptional School, however families whose children attend other Lee County school programs are welcomed.

The purpose of forming this support group is so families can network with other families and share information and resources to help them in their everyday challenges.

Some topics parents may wish to discuss are:

  • how to find respite care
  • personal care hours
  • finding caregivers
  • assistance with transportation needs
  • support for siblings

If you want more information, please contact Jill @ 239-895-2050 or email [email protected].

If you need transportation and or assistance with an interpreter we will try to help so you can attend.

Remember you’re not alone!

No estás solo!
